On the morning of December 23, Nguyen Hue High School held the “English Festival: Christmas Show,” creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere with enthusiastic participation from students across all grades. Prior to the event, the third-floor lobby was beautifully decorated with a sparkling Christmas tree adorned with twinkling lights and gifts neatly placed beneath it, evoking a warm and joyful holiday spirit.
The program featured a diverse cultural celebration, showcasing traditional costumes from various countries, including American cowboy attire, Japanese kimonos, and Korean hanboks. Students delivered captivating performances, participated in creative and engaging games, and enjoyed the highlight of the event—a surprise visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, who distributed meaningful gifts that added to the excitement and festive cheer.
One of the standout activities was the traditional costume contest, which honored the best-dressed classes with prizes. The first prize was awarded to classes 11A2, 11A3, and 11A9 for their American-themed costumes. The second prize went to classes 12A9 and 12A12 (Japan) and 11A12 and 11A14 (Korea). Meanwhile, the third prize was given to classes 12A2 and 12A6 (Vietnam) and 10A7 and 10A9 (Russia).
The “English Festival: Christmas Show” not only brought the lively spirit of the holiday season to life but also served as an opportunity for students to connect with friends, explore diverse cultures, and create unforgettable memories during this warm and festive Christmas season. ???????????? ????
